Are you the light?

Matthew 5:14-16,Jesus in His teachings referred believers as being the light of the world. The world is full of darkness and so desperately it needs light coming  into this space.

Nobody wants to identify with darkness as it is associated with evil things and it’s during darkness that people commit things for they believe nobody would be able to see them.

However,Jesus introduces us to the opposite of darkness and that’s the light.During darkness, things are hidden and all sorts of evil is committed. The presence of light into a dark place, reveals all those things that are hidden and exposes them.

So Jesus called us as the light into a dark place(world). The reason why people put up light is to enable others see what is present without any fear of the unknown. Another great purpose of the light,is that once men see your light, and your good works, they will glorify God who resides in you.

Remember that all things must be centered on glorifying God and not man.God has already that He can’t share His glory with man for He is God.

So every morning when you wake up,the key question to ask yourself must always be

How do I become the light to the darkness around me?

How best can I express my light  and not hide it?

How can I continue to show my light through my good works?

Lastly, how do I make sure that my light remains and brings glory to God?

Walk and work while it’s daylight for days are coming and already are hear when people love darkness and can’t stand the light. So make sure that your light is seen well and not hidden for God wants to glorify Himself through and in you.

Lastly, make it your #1 priority on how you can serve others and glorify God while doing your part in bringing people back to God.

Progress on staying on Course!!

In April 11.2019,i talked on the importance of getting our priorities right so as to stay on course to achieve our goals. Its now five(5)months down the line and i wonder how much progress you have made before the year comes to an  end in the next three(3)months.

Paul the Apostle echoed these sentiments in great detail to his spiritual son Timothy in 2 Timothy 4: 7-8 when he said “I have fought a good fight,i have finished the course, and i have kept the faith;Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day;and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing”

Quicks points to note from the above two verses;

1.There is always something we run, work for and its not for nothing

2.You must decide on how to engage yourself in this mission; whether playing by the rules or against them.

3.You must look forward to finish or accomplish the race set before you otherwise it will be futile to start and abandon it on the way for that will be a big lose.

4.For every race or mission accomplished, there is a reward for your sweat or effort, time, sacrifice. You must feel encouraged with this assurance.

5.The day of rewarding will be a great day for you and all that ran and kept their faith in accordance with the laid down rules.

Wait a moment and ask yourself if you are still on course or slowed down the tempo or contemplating to quit or hang on to the very end? Its only three(3)months before 2020 and what will be your stock at the end of the year 2019?

 Let’s talk candidly!!
